With winter nearly over, our Geelong residents will be looking forward to catching up with family, going for after school walks and kicking the football around at the new Glenlee community park – which opened earlier this month. It’s one of many milestones reached across the portfolio in August, as our team gears up for a flurry of spring activity.
Elsewhere across Victoria, works on Canvas Brunswick have continued to progress – while Willow, in the heart of the Macedon Ranges, also rapidly takes shape and welcomes more new residents.
Glenlee Regional Park opens for business
Earlier in August, and just in time for spring, the Glenlee Regional Park was officially completed!
With a playground and activities the kids will love, shady areas, open space, AFL goalposts, and more, the park is certain to feature as a crowd favourite as the weather gets warmer – the carpark has already been consistently full over the last few weeks!
Work at Canvas Brunswick has been progressing smoothly over the last few months, with the team at Cobolt Constructions now completing the slab pours on level five and six, having finished the precast panel installation to level five.
Precast panels are now being installed on level six, and the hydraulics and mechanical service rough ins have been installed in the basement.
Over the next few months, the team will commence works on the slab pour across levels seven to ten, alongside the lighting, hydraulics and fire service systems making their way up from the basement.
Progress continues at Willow
Foundational works across Willow have primed the project for a huge spring, as the project gears up for the opening of its new display village – Stage 8 is nearing practical completion, and concreting, drainage and earthworks are progressing in Stages 9, 10 and 11 respectively.
Willowbank Primary School is also running a series of tours in August and September, ahead of the 2023 school year.
