ID_Land was proud to support the two-day Social Innovators program, run by Crazy Ideas College, at Geelong Tech School earlier this month.

The program saw year 8 students from Iona College Geelong come together to find new ways to solve the region’s pressing social challenges; the environment, learning, wellbeing and healthy relationships were some of the tasks at hand. Teams pitched their ideas to community partners, who provided feedback and outlined steps they could take to progress their ideas.

Biodegradable fishing lines, fun runs, and festivals that celebrate diversity were just some of the incredible ideas the students came up with.

With many of the students’ families living, or planning to live, within our Watermark, Glenlee, Haymont or The Reserve communities, our team was excited to partner with Crazy Ideas College for their first Geelong program.
