3,000-lot Queensland acquisition marks largest in ID_Land’s history

ID_Land has secured the largest acquisition in its 15-year history, locking in a 210-hectare site at Rocksberg in Queensland that will deliver more than 3,000 lots with an end value in excess of $1 billion.

Located within the City of Moreton Bay and forming part of the Waraba Priority Development Area, the Old North Road site significantly strengthens ID_Land’s footprint in one of South East Queensland’s fastest-growing regions.

The acquisition further expands ID_Land’s presence within the City of Moreton Bay to 5,000 lots and builds on several off-market acquisitions across 2023 and 2024 spanning Waraba and Narangba.

Strengthening a $4.5 Billion National Pipeline

The Rocksberg acquisition increases ID_Land’s national pipeline to more than $4.5 billion and 10,000 lots, while growing its Queensland pipeline to more than 6,000 lots following the establishment of its Brisbane office in 2021.

Managing Director Matthew Belford said the acquisition represents a defining milestone for the business.

“With this acquisition ID_Land now moves into the top 10 land developers by future pipeline in Australia.
We have great confidence in the Queensland market, in particular the south east, with this acquisition now taking our pipeline to over 6,000 lots in that state alone.
The Rocksberg site was one of the best opportunities that has come to market in many years and we are thrilled that we have been able to secure the site. We plan to create a landmark, market-leading housing estate that will set a new benchmark and underpin our business in Queensland for over a decade.”

The site was secured via a select off-market process and will be delivered progressively over the next decade.

Supporting Long-Term Growth

The acquisition supports the long-term pipeline across the broader ID_CORP group, including Shape Homes, Next Living and Title Capital, and reinforces the group’s confidence in South East Queensland as a key growth market.

With established operations in Victoria and continued expansion across Queensland, the Rocksberg project represents a cornerstone investment designed to anchor the group’s growth in the state for the next decade.

Further updates will be shared as planning progresses.
